To take the photos correctly, pay close attention to the focus and lighting so that the document is clearly legible. We recommend placing the document on a table or stable surface to reduce movement and improve image quality.
The verification process must be completed using the camera on a mobile device. If you started the process on a computer, you’ll need to scan the QR code that appears to continue on your phone.
When the verification process begins, the first screen will display a few instructions to keep in mind.
Before clicking the Verify my identity button, make sure you have your valid identification document accepted in your country of residence. You can check which documents are accepted in this article: What types of documents are accepted for registration on Bit2Me?
As the process begins, don’t forget to enable and allow camera access on your device, as you’ll need to take 3 photos:
- Front side of the document. Center the front side of your document within the on-screen frame. The edges of the frame will turn green when the image is detected, and the photo will be taken automatically.
Once successfully captured, a message will appear prompting you to prepare the back side. Click Continue .
- Back side of the document. Align the back side within the frame until the edges turn green and the photo is taken automatically.Once captured, you’ll see a message with the next step.Click Continue .
- Facial recognition. To finish, align your face within the oval frame and look at the camera so that your eyes are clearly visible..

Recommendations:
- Before starting, make sure you’ve correctly selected the document you will photograph: nationality, issuing country, and type of document. If this information doesn’t match the document, the system may not read it correctly and could reject your verification.
- All photos must be taken of the original, physical document and in good condition.
- Sometimes, the verification process requires manual review. If so, we will contact you once it’s completed.
- For facial recognition, your face must be clearly visible: tie your hair back and remove any glasses to ensure better results.
